Modern Foreign Languages

Welcome

The Modern Foreign Languages Department at Havant Academy aims to build on the foundations of language learning learnt at Key Stage 2 and focuses on developing the breadth and depth of pupil’s competence in the four attainments: listening, speaking, reading and writing. At Havant Academy we encourage students to develop and justify their opinions in their speech and writing, deepen their knowledge of vocabulary and understanding of grammar and to communicate effectively with each other in the target language.
