Welcome to the Havant Academy website

Welcome to our website - a website designed to celebrate the achievements of our academy, to inform and connect with parents and the community, and to share our ambitions for the education and progress of our students.

Havant Academy is part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), and is an aspirational and inspiring place.   We all share the same goals and continue to strive to be ‘the best version of ourselves’ every day.  Most importantly, we are a community school which allows each individual to thrive and develop.  We are committed to giving our students the highest standard of education and we celebrate success in and out of the classroom, however small.

We absolutely believe that student learning and progress is our core purpose. However, we are equally determined that Havant students will have the skills and attributes to live and work in the global society of tomorrow and will be confident in their morals and values in order to lead good lives.

To be a part of Havant means that you are supported by the highest standards of student care, our pupil welfare team work tirelessly to ensure that happens. Conduct, discipline and smartness is paramount at the school; we are proud of who we are and show this in the way we dress and carry ourselves.

Please use this website or visit the school in order to find out more about our high-quality learning environment and welcoming atmosphere.

Recent Letter about RAAC

Due to the recent announcement in the local news, here is the letter we sent out recently about RAAC in our school. As reiterated in the letter, we have had to unfortunately close all PE changing rooms and the Drama Theatre.

Therefore, if your child has PE or dance, or an Enrichment activity that requires PE kit on their timetable, children should come to school dressed in their PE kit for that specific day.

Our PE kit consists of:

- A Havant Academy PE top or plain black T-shirt

- Havant Academy shorts, plain black shorts, plain black tracksuit bottoms or leggings

- No jewellery

Wellbeing Support at Havant Academy

We want to ensure that students, parents/carers and staff, at all times, feel comfortable to express any issues relating to student mental wellbeing. After talking to students on how to achieve this, we decided to provide a space on our website that allows students and parents/carers to express themselves on a virtual platform without having to go to a member of staff first.

The logo to the left is a button which will take you to the designated wellbeing support area of the website. Alternatively, please click here.
