Debating club, learning how to research and structure compelling formal arguments in an academic setting which will help you develop the skills you need to be able to be confident speakers in a room, as well as researching and learning about topics you wouldn’t otherwise be able to explore. There will also be opportunities to be part of a team competing in the upcoming Youth Speaks competition as well as TKAT and PiXL events.

Showstoppers

The one and only Havant Academy vocal group Showstoppers is back and is looking for singers from all year groups to be a part of a fantastic show choir! Performance opportunities include the Christmas Concert, charity event and house competitions. Attendance at Showstoppers will also guarantee you a place in the Havant Academy summer show 2019, to be announced after Christmas. “The only thing better than singing is more singing” Ella Fitzgerald.
