The Brilliant Club #students have been working with the University of Portsmouth looking at Criminology. They completed tutorials on 'The Dark Past: Exploring Criminology's History and Blind Spots'. All the students enjoyed the discussions and research. Our students asked some very worthwhile questions of the University’s Student Ambassadors as well as being fully engaged in all today’s sessions. Their work culminated in their final assignment to write an essay on the question "Do criminologists do more harm than good?" We are delighted with the way our students engaged with the programme and are looking forward to collaborating with The Brilliant Club again next year. 🇲🇫 FRANCE TRIP UPDATE 🇲🇫 We have a a very sleepy bus full of students on their way to Calais. Students finished their trip with a campfire before heading off for an 'early' night. We will update parents on our ETA, once we have crossed the channel 😊

🇲🇫 FRANCE TRIP UPDATE 🇲🇫 The sun finally came out for the day in Paris. From first spot of the Eiffel tower to a walking tour of Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. All students went up to at least the second floor of the Eiffel tower, with some students even making it to the top. They have spent every last cent they had on Paris themed goodies and are now getting ready for their last meal here at the Château, which will include snails. Tonight we have a campfire to round off our five days in France and a special cake for our Birthday girl Lola 😉😁
