Year 7 #students were given the opportunity to participate in a #poetry workshop with Chris Redmond, a professional poet who has performed in 20 countries on five continents with features on BBC Radio 1, 2, 4, 6Music and Sky Arts. It was fantastic to see how year 7 explored their creativity and made some poems about their favourite objects. This was an event organised by the National Literacy Trust as part of #youngpoets Week.
